by Steve Horstmeyer
CINCINNATI (WXIX) -The low and high temperatures for Cincinnati Sunday were 22° and 41°.
Look for excellent but chilly weather for tail-gating and the game, but it will be excellent keeping in mind how cold and blustery January weather can be in Cincy.
Clouds will increase late tonight into Monday early morning. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day will be wet with rain arriving late morning or early afternoon depending on how far east you are.
Showers end around dawn Tuesday with cloudy skies sticking around for most of the remainder of the week.
Tuesday and most of Wednesday will be dry with rain returning Wednesday early evening. Both days high temps will be in the low 50s.
Thursday will have more rain and even thunder possible in the tri-state with breezy and very warm conditions yet again. The heaviest rain will be from before dawn into mid-morning. During the afternoon scattered, brief light showers will re-develop.
The weather will be dry Friday and Saturday. Another La Niña storm from the southwest looks like it will strike a glancing blow on the FOX19 NOW viewing area o Sunday. At this time it looks like the the counties south and southeast of the city may get some snow. Stay tuned as we adjust the forecast.
