CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A man is accused of punching and threatening to kill a woman at the University of Cincinnati, an affidavit said.
According to court documents, 21-year-old Reilly Allwerdt was in Scioto Hall on Sunday when he allegedly punched a woman several times after she got upset with him for drinking the rest of her milk.
The victim said she told Allwerdt he had to buy her a new bottle if he finished it so she “tried to grab it from him” but Allwerdt shoved her, the affidavit said.
People were in the dorm room at the time of the confrontation but left because they got “really uncomfortable,” the victim stated in the court documents.
Allwerdt got angry that people were leaving “so he shoved me more,” the affidavit says.
According to the documents, the victim said the 21-year-old demanded she hit him “or it would get worse for me so he took my hands and hit himself in the head with them. At some point, he said if I didn’t close my fists he would kill me.”
At one point, Allwerdt was allegedly straddling the victim while she was on the floor and threatened to break her arms, the affidavit said.
The victim stated in the affidavit that Allwert bent her arms back, she screamed and that’s when he punched her in the head with a closed fist.
She said she hit Allwerdt to get him off of her and then he slapped her again after she told him to please stop, the documents said.
It is unknown whether or not the victim or the suspect are students at UC.
Allwerdt is being charged with one count of felonious assault, court records say.
